Free workshop at Stackpole, Pembrokeshire - please share

Anne, Ellie and Hazel – Likely Story theatre company – would love you to join them for a creative evening of conversation and cake on Thursday 10 October, 6pm – 8.30pm, in the theatre space at Stackpole Outdoor Learning Centre.

Likely Story theatre company are starting to make a new show, inspired by a photograph of a group of women from the 1900s standing next to a gig rowing boat, entitled ‘Rude and coarse women’.  We want to investigate how women are talked about, how women talk about each other and how groups of women support (or don’t support) each other.  We want to talk to lots of women about these themes and hope you can join us and share your thoughts and experiences.

You will have an interesting and stimulating evening, have a chance to be creative in a friendly environment and contribute to creating a new piece of theatre.

This will be a very relaxed and gentle evening workshop, with some fun, simple creative group exercises led by theatre makers and artists.  No-one will be asked to do anything they’re not comfortable doing.

We want to make sure that we have enough tea and cake so please rsvp to Anne on 07986 823 824 or info@likelystory.org.uk .

Latecomers are welcome – so do join us even if you can’t get there from the start.  If you have any access needs or need to bring children please let Anne know.

The venue is:

Stackpole Outdoor Learning Centre,

The Old Home Farmyard,

Stackpole,

Pembrokeshire

SA71 5DQ.

There’s some information about how to get to the venue here: http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/wra-1361191606681/

Hi Anne, I really like the topic of your meeting and Stackpole is a lovely place (as my son went there for a school venture week.) Do you have any Cardiff based events? As I would be very interested.

Kind Regards

Rowena
