Garlands Fringe - Happening Friday 24 June

A small, friendly audience will be coming together in Garlands to help a gathering of artists create and develop work that is in the very initial stages of creation.

On Friday 24 June at 7.30pm, Garlands Eatery in Duke Street Arcade (opposite Cardiff Castle) will see new, emerging and more experienced artists come together to tell stories, try out scripts, watch films of found images, test ideas and ask for audience feedback on their work whilst nibbling on Garlands' Welsh Rarebit and guzzling down tea and coffee.

Sounds nice, yes? Fancy coming along?

It will be a lovely evening of local nibbles and local talent. Give our group of artists your feedback on their work in nice informal chats over tea and ale. Be a real help to these artists as you play your part in developing the next stage of their work.

As it's Garlands - you will be treated to locally sourced, homemade food alongside the performances. Unlimited tea and coffee flows all evening.
Entry is £7.50. The food and tea is included in that and alcohol is available to buy for those of you so inclined (it is a Friday night, after all).
We only have limited spaces though (maximum 25 capacity) so get in touch with me if you definitely want to reserve a ticket and can definitely make it.
And I'll let you all know how it goes, because we are planning on doing more of these events in the future!
