Final Day filming with Gavin at Talacre Beach AND a master class in editing - thank you Gavin! All the young film-makers had a chance at acting, camera, sound & editing. Weather was absolutely perfect both days and I hope to try and get the finished film done before our Prestatyn Youth Arts Film Festival on 6th May. We've got some bloggy feedback and I'll try and get that edited at tonight's Film & Media group at the Scala and publish it here. Thanks to everyone who made the project possible - Gavin & the young people who worked really hard both days (although I think they had enough energy to still be filming at Talacre Beach if they could); National Theatre for making another dream a reality (I think we might be on the way to a community film crew); Kevin Roberts & the Scala for unlimited access to the Media Suite & equipment; Prestatyn Youth Arts Festival for catering & hospitality; my husband Andrew for unflagging support of me and all things Scala; Amelia's dad, Foggy, Ryan's mum & Kevin for coming to our rescue at the end of the first day and giving exhausted cast & crew a lift back to the Scala... Thank you!
