I’m delighted to be joining TEAM Panel in 2016. I’m a playwright (currently working on a seed commission for NTW); I regularly review theatre as well as providing content for online journals, blogs and print publications, and sometimes produce radio and audio. You can find out more about all of this here. In addition, as a proudly disabled artist I also run Disability Arts Cymru’s blog with the title of the The Blog Maestro.
I’ve been a TEAM member for a long time and have enjoyed a huge range of benefits, plus I also now have the great pleasure of co-producing regular TEAM event Stories of the Streets with writer and TEAM Panellist, turned Board Member Kelly Jones. However, as a new panellist I’m looking forward to getting even more involved and representing the views of TEAM members, bringing about change and generally making TEAM even more brilliant than it is already! (It’s a tough job but someone’s got to do it.)
I thought it might be fun to tell you a few facts about myself by way of introduction so here goes…
Tells (good?) jokes
Only drinks good coffee
Misses cassette tapes and making music mixes
Wears scarves too much
Enjoys a good play – and a good chat about it afterwards
Never without a book, favourite authors include, David Sedaris, Susie Boyt and Esther Freud
Tries to take time to enjoy the small things
Would outlaw litter in the streets
Only child
Really hates Bananas
Thinks time is out to get him
Happy (most of the time)
Tom x
