Hello,
I am currently looking for a Stage Manager/Production Manager for October/November 2014 for a Welsh Tour visiting traditional theatre venues and rural venues such as village halls, etc . . .
The production is for a show called Hiraeth, which had great success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year:
The successful candidate will:
Operate the show (Sound and Lighting)
Will be responsible for the get-in and get-out of the show at each venue - including all technical requirements
Will write a show report for every show
Needs to be able to drive, including a van
Will have experience of writing risk assessments
Will look after the company on tour as a Stage Manager
Be responsible for any sourcing
Will need to carry out any returns after the end of the tour
Desirable:
Plays an instrument and has experience of playing folk music.
Experience of rural touring.
First Aid trained.
Must be available from the 20th October until the 16th November 2014
The fee is £430 per week and accommodation, per diems and transport will be provided by the company.
This tour has been funded by the Arts Council of Wales and supported by the Wales Millennium Centre.
