We’ve just announced our entire season of performances for 2018, Artistic Director Kully Thiarai’s first full programme of work for the company.

Here’s what Kully had to say -

“Our 2018 season is all about People and Places. We’re inviting audiences to join us in locations across Wales and take a moment to walk in other’s shoes, be they south Asian women or migrants from all over the world, NHS staff or patients past and present. “These productions will be experimental, political, diverse and provocative. All of them will explore the human condition, what effect places have on our identities, and our impressions of others’ identities. So join us next year for this exciting new season of work, and see Wales, the world and its people through fresh eyes.”
We will be creating work across Wales and online in diverse art-forms including new writing, contemporary dance, music, comedy, sensory theatre and visual art. There will be performances in hospitals, schools and theatres, on boats and even underwater. So get onto our website and scroll through all of the offerings and get planning your 2018 with National Theatre Wales.

It is going to be a really exciting year at NTW and we can't wait to share it all with you!

CYFLWYNO EIN TYMOR 2018!

Rydym newydd gyhoeddi ein tymor newydd o waith ar gyfer 2018. Dyma fydd rhaglen lawn gyntaf ein Cyfarwyddwr Artistig Kully Thiarai gyda'r cwmni.

Meddai Kully: “Rydym yn gwahodd cynulleidfaoedd i ymuno â ni mewn lleoliadau ar draws Cymru a threulio ennyd yn cerdded yn esgidiau pobl eraill, boed yn fenywod o Dde Asia neu'n fudwyr o bob cwr o'r byd, staff neu gleifion y GIG o’r gorffennol a'r presennol.

"Bydd y cynhyrchiadau hyn yn arbrofol, yn wleidyddol, yn amrywiol ac yn bryfoclyd. Bydd pob un ohonynt yn archwilio'r cyflwr dynol, pa effaith y mae lleoedd yn ei chael ar ein hunaniaeth, a'n hargraffiadau o hunaniaethau eraill. Ymunwch â ni y flwyddyn nesaf ar gyfer y tymor newydd cyffrous hwn o waith, a gweld Cymru, y byd a'i bobl trwy lygaid ffres."

Mi fyddwn yn creu gwaith ledled Cymru a ar-lein yn cynnwys ysgrifennu newydd, dawns gyfoes, cerddoriaeth, comedi, theatr synhwyraidd a chelf weledol. Mi fydd perfformiadau mewn ysbytai, ysgolion a theatrau, cychod a hyd yn oed o dan dŵr. Felly ewch i’n gwefan a mynnwch gip ar yr amryw o berfformiadau sydd i ddod.

Am manylion llawn y tymor ewch i'r wefan - https://www.nationaltheatrewales.org/cy/tymor-2018-ntw ;

Mae mynd i fod yn flwyddyn cynhyrfus iawn yma yn NTW a rydyn yn awyddus iawn i'w rhannu gyda chi gyd!
