Job Opportunity: Dementia Friendly Co-ordinator
Canoe Theatre are currently looking for a Dementia Friendly activity co-ordinator (South Wales) for their production of This Incredible Life by Alan Harris.
The role would involve working closely with Chapter Cardiff, The Met Abertillery, Blackwood Miners Institute and Redhouse, Merthyr, and local organisations and networks to build an audience for the Dementia Friendly performance. The co-ordinator will source and manage a group of youth Volunteers for the event and would also plan the logistics and make bookings for activity, workshops and info points that will be present at the theatre throughout the day.

Fee: £1000 (plus expenses)

Byddai’r rôl yn cynnwys gweithio’n agos â Chapter, Caerdydd, The Met Abertillery, Sefydliad Y Glowyr Coed Duon a Redhouse, Merthyr, a sefydliadau a rhwydweithiau lleol i adeiladu cynulleidfa ar gyfer y perfformiad Cyfeillgar i Ddementia. Bydd y cydlynydd yn canfod ac yn rheoli grŵp o Wirfoddolwyr Ieuenctid ar gyfer y digwyddiad ac yn cynllunio’r logisteg a threfnu’r gweithgareddau, gweithdai a phwyntiau gwybodaeth fydd ar gael yn y theatr drwy gydol y dydd.
