Salary: 18-24k Pro rata

Jukebox Collective is seeking a Financial Administrator/bookkeeper to support Creative Director in maintaining and developing the financial health of the organisation. Working as part of a small motivated team developing and supporting systems to ensure that they meet and reflect ongoing changes to business requirements.

Founded by Liara Barussi, Jukebox is recognised as a leading company for street dance in the UK, through the following three strands, Theatre, Creative Services and Participation. Jukebox has a particular emphasis on the training and professional development of young people. It is entrepreneurial in its approach to working in the creative, community and commercial sectors. Founded on the principle of excellence in street dance being a right for all, our mission is to inspire, create and educate through street dance and hip hop culture.

Duties Include:

  • Responsibility for entire accounting function using SAGE Line 50

  • Produce annual budgets, project budgets & reports

  • Produce financial reports and returns as required by stakeholders e.g Arts Council

  • Maintain all financial records to an audible standard

  • Raise and process invoices, purchase orders and petty cash system

  • Undertake payroll of staff using Sage Payroll and prepare returns for HMRC

  • Ensure compliance with VAT and HMRC requirements

  • Lead on contract agreements with suppliers

  • Ensure correct frameworks are in place regarding turnover, trading performance and

    forward planning.

  • Attend quarterly board of trustee meetings

  • Prepare monthly auto-enrolment pension submission

  • Develop systems and efficient working practices
