JOB: Together We Create/Creu Gyda’n Gilydd Creative Producer

The ‘Together We Create/Creu Gyda’n Gilydd’ Project Partnership seeks proposals from experienced, proactive, and approachable Creative Producer for it’s Arts Council Wales, Connect and Flourish Project ‘Together We Create/Creu Gyda’n Gilydd’.

 

‘Together We Create/Creu Gyda’n Gilydd’ is an ambitious long-term project which brings arts and non-arts partners together with the communities of Penrhys and the surrounding Rhondda Cynon Taf area. It seeks to unite local stakeholders, creative practitioners and the community to collectively explore the hopes, needs and desires in everyday life, using the arts as a tool for self-empowerment and social change.

 

The project is a collaboration with arts and non-arts partners including Trivallis Housing Association, Tempo Time CreditsDigital Communities WalesCreative Lives, the Co-Production Network for WalesNational Theatre WalesRhondda Cynon Taf Arts Service and Community Champions, Penrhys Primary SchoolSparc: Valleys Kids and Llanfair Uniting Church.

 

Working in collaboration with the Lead Artist, the Creative Producer will support a group of freelance artists to work with local partners and communities on a co-creation project from November 2021- May 2022 (the project may be extended by 2 months TBC)

 

Essential requirements;

  • Highly-motivated and ambitious person.
  • Demonstratable experience in collaborative projects.
  • Passionate about engaging with participants of all ages and introducing them to new art forms.
  • Can demonstrate a strong understanding of contracts, project management and marketing.
  • Can champion and articulate the ambitions of the project to stakeholders and share in celebrating successes in order to outline further aspirations.

 

The role will be based in Penrhys, Rhondda Cynon Taf.

 

The total fee for this contract is £15,840 based on an average of 2.5 days per week
