Lead Creative Schools Practioners required - Mid Wales

Builth Wells High School are looking for exciting and experienced Creative Practitioners to work on the first year of our Lead Creative Schools Project. We are focusing on improving literacy through the creative arts amongst Year 7 pupils and are looking for any professional creative artists who have a passion for the use of art in education and an ability to inspire and motivate learners. This is an opportunity to collaborate with pupils, teachers and other artists in shaping an exciting new learning experience. We are hoping to work with a number of artists so days/budget will be decided in initial meetings once the artists have been chosen.

To apply for this project please could you prepare a ‘pitch’ that the Creative Agent can present to the learners. This should be no longer than 200 words and can include examples of work in any media. The aim of this would be to provide an overview of your work, and to show what learners could expect to do in your sessions. Your pitch should be aimed at the Year 7 pupils as they will make the ultimate decision about who works on the project. You can provide further information on your work in the covering email. Please email your pitch and covering email to owengriffkin@gmail.com . You can also email with any questions or to discuss ideas before sending in your pitch. THE DEADLINE IS MARCH 10th
