Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod is looking for a dynamic and creative Music Director to provide the artistic leadership for the Eisteddfod for 2018 and beyond.

The Music Director is responsible for setting the artistic direction and content of the Eisteddfod. The role includes responsibility for programming the Eisteddfod competitions and concerts, maintaining artistic standards and developing the artistic vision for the Eisteddfod.   

Fee: £10,000 - £12,000 (dependent on experience) on a self-employed / freelance basis

 This is an annual appointment but it is envisaged that the appointed Music Director would remain in position beyond 2018 to ensure continuity and to support the artistic development of the event.
