Does Love Really Steal Us from Loneliness?
Love is
growth! Growing up, together, apart, growing feelings, memories, sadness, happiness, growing old ...

This was the emotive essence that stayed with me after NTW's latest production (NTW07). A testament to both Gary Owen and John McGrath in taking a sensitive and emotionally rich story of connections, vulnerability and social norms and engaging a rich emotive array of narrative, intertwined like ... the lives, the loves, the steal rods that provided the structural boundaries of the scene for 'Love Steals Us From Loneliness' ... "a harsh but true reality"

I don't think I can do this production the justice it deserves in a blog post conveyed in black and white words and linear style of communication.

Too often we use words to convey 'love' 'like' or even 'care' ... what about actions? what about images? As they say "actions speak louder than words" and "a picture can tell a thousand words" ... so here I provide a visual story of this production ... told through pictures taken throughout my experience as a member of the NTW Community, observing, listening, watching, hearing, feeling ...

Albeit but from one perspective ...
The two pictures below, are just the beginning of a visual story in 42 pictures I've uploaded to Flickr ... So visit my photostream for NTW07 ...

001: The backdrop ... simple, complex, intertwined, harsh, cold ...

042: The leaving ... dark, harsh, bright, in your face, cheap,

Well done to the NTW07 team ...

Smiles

Kelly
