As I have written for an online youth magazine, "I would like to share the excitement and seek your involvement. As a youth improv group, we are off to France. This is very exciting news. We are booked into performing in Thonon-Les-Bains for Impro Leman's Teen Impro Festival." (http://thesprout.co.uk/en/news/ludus-ludiuses-to-france/18938.html)

I was writing it as the young people themselves. It is important to enable young people and their prospects, which is what I have sought to do for some time. These young people also need your help and wish to offer something back in return.

The youth improv group began back in 2010 with some people dipping in and out and other really taking to perform the art form of improv comedy. It has clearly stuck with them as they now internationally perform. However, the group is still only beginning their journey.

Ludus Ludius Youth Improv are running an eight week course on improvisational comedy.

The course introduces the discovery and exploration of improvisation. In each session there will be a focus on play and playfulness. Throughout the course we get to know the participants and discover the unknown together. This workshop is suitable for beginners to improv comedy and performance.

The basics of improv shall be incrementally introduced through fun and games. We look at Johnstone and Spolin approaches as well as other methods. Every workshop is different, so we can cover more or less than what's listed dependant on who is present.

We begin on Sunday 22nd March, 7pm at Owain Glydwr*.

To book onto this event go to the workshops page on www.LudusLudius.co.uk

I hope this is as exciting news to you, both for the show and for the workshops.

Hope to hear from some of you soon.

*The venue is helping the Youth group to fund raise by letting us use the space.
