Today, I was lucky to be able to spent a day at the set (or shall I say sets?) of Give It a Name and Chapters new co-production "My life in CIA".

The staging of Harry Mathew's autobiographical novel seems rather exciting.

Put back to the 1970s, brought to Paris, this production allows its audience not just to get an insight into Mathew's extraordinary 'game of life', but also to travel from one location to another.

No two people will have the same experience.

Having spent hours with the lovely team working on this production, and having been able observe several scenes today, the production seems so complex, that I still can't really tell what it is about.

As a matter of fact I don't want to give too much away (as I said before ;I don't think I could anyway!),however, the acting talent, the hard work and the great teamwork that I observed today, make me very confident in saying that I believe that this is a production that needs to be seen.

The logistic side of it seems impressive but the interesting mixture of several art forms, presented within the frame of theatre, will hopefully excite an audience that usually doesn't go to the theatre as well, as an audience that prefers the fourth wall between oneself and the happenings.

So for everyone who fancies a little bit of 'game playing' and a potentially (I say this because I haven't seen it yet) very exciting and for some members of the audience probably very innovative piece of theatre, check out the Chapter website and get yourself a ticket for one of the shows.
