Hi NTW Community,

So today was my first day at the Edinburgh Fringe 2012. I arrived yesterday but not until the evening and so didn't manage to accomplish anything of any interest, apart from watching the closing ceremony of the Olympics - thoroughly enjoyed it but what about the Paralympics! Don't understand why those events aren't just included in the Olympics! (Sorry went off on a bit of a tangent then.)

Today, I got up mega early at half 6 to attend the technical rehearsal for the show I'm working on The Golden Cowpat. The tech went smoothly as the show is very tech light and I'm very happy to say that in the following two shows, we had two audiences who were nearly full and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy the show. Although, we had a reviewer in from The Stage today and it'll be interesting to see what he thought of it, as the show is a little more stripped back than our usual puppet extravaganzas.

IAfter I had finished my duties at the show I then went off to exit flyer similar shows to The Golden Cowpat, meeting Llinos from:

Which I am going to try and catch either tomorrow or Wednesday, and on the mile I ran into Cardiff University's Act One who are doing an adaptation of King Lear:

Which I am going to try and catch on Friday, hopefully.

Ending up sorting out food for the company, printing and other chores which have to be done including cooking dinner!

I was planning to visit the Bedlam Theatre today but the Rhum and Clay show I really wanted to see was on day off so I am going to go tomorrow evening instead. So, I don't have any performance to comment on as yet. Its surprising how quickly time goes once you hit Edinburgh!

Two questions have really sprung to mind today! Should writers direct their own work? and Why is it so hard to choose from such a massive programme and why is it so scary?

I am now very much looking forward to my bed and sharing with you the video of me making a Golden Cowpat necklace!!!!

I am tweeting using #ntwteam if you'd like to follow my day!

Over and Out.
