For the last few weeks I have been working at NTW at their offices in the Castle Arcade.
After graduating from uni and not really knowing what to do and where to start my "career" it was great when I received a phone call from Lesa asking if I wanted to come on a placement at NTW!!

So I started my placement bright and early on a Monday morning and was told that I would be in charge of the database!!! 'Exciting!' I hear you say... indeed... I am no way PC literate but I have managed and am still plodding along with it all. Also I'm probably the person who answers the phone to everyone.

As the week went by I met many people popping in and out of the offices and sat in secret meetings which was cool! I was also promoted in my FIRST week from placement, to intern, to database analyst to a free lance database consultant! The free lance title could be true as I have just declared myself to the tax man that I am self employed. Anyway my title has got more impressive as the days have gone by.

I have enjoyed myself and still am enjoying my experience at the offices. Tea on demand is always a plus.

Edith joined as another intern/placement. It is so nice to have someone who is also treading water and just trying sort things that we have no idea about.

The team here are awesome! and have been keeping wayyyyyy busy but it's better than watching day time tv on the dole!

Over and out
