So this week I'm finally getting to grips with the National Theatre Wales Community, in the hopes of promoting my Writing Group: Scribblers.

Running once a month, from numerous local venues in Bridgend, the group has been going for just under a year now, and I've met with many new and experienced writers, and more of those 'in-between' types. It's really amazing to hear all the stories and ideas that the Scribblers lot bring with them, whether inspired by the theme for that month, or created from the depths of their minds.

From March, we will be joining with the guys behind Bridgend's 'Secret Garden Party', to create a new event that pulls together writers, musicians and artists in a collective that we hope will bring more writers to the group, and also give them the opportunity to find inspiration from the music and artwork on show. Perhaps they'll even feel brave enough to start showcasing their work to the larger audience!

Fingers crossed this will be something that will grow and grow...
