Norman & Judith - Waleslab- Opening of the unknown

 

 

It was with excitement, anticipation and a little fear that we embarked on the journey of opening the "letters" today.

 

Our mixed emotions stemmed from the uncertainty of whether the content would live up to our expectations, the excitement of being the first to lay eyes upon those hidden words and an uneasy feeling of opening something that did not belong to us.

 

We opened ten letters, three of which were sealed.

This is the earliest of our collection dated  1 March 1967.

 

 

 

 

 

Brief and informal, this represented the early stage of their friendship/relationship.

 

 

The following nine letters revealed a deeper and more personal insight.

So whats their relationship? Friends? Family? Colleagues? More? They talk about trivial things but I wonder what they would really like to talk about - the space between...whats that film...Brief Encounter??
