Sooooo first off sorry for the time it has taken to blog this I have been traveling and catching up with family.

So the last days were very busy the 'Seagull Effect' by Idle Motion was a stand out show really enjoyable and we met with Grace from the company after the show who was a really cool interesting person. Really enjoyed the way the show begins and ends and some beautiful use of projection and umbrellas. This show is well worth a watch so pop along to Zoo Roxy for that.

In fact Zoo venues seem to be a good venue for quality shows this year with both Muscle and Seagull Effect in Zoo Roxy I also went to there South side venue  for a show called 'A Preoccupation with Romance' by CloseKnit Theatre. I really enjoyed this show with some touching moments I think this a company to look out for in the future as they learn more about the craft and get more shows behind them I look forward to some exciting heartfelt work coming from this company in the future. The show was strong but a few times in the show I did find my mind was wondering. Overall though I would say I enjoyed the show and the sound track was especially good.

The evening had us watch 'Tonight Sandy Grierson Will Lecture, Dance and Box' and 'What Goes Up'. I was really looking forward to the former and it was an intense energy full show however I was expecting something very different so felt a little bit disappointed but I was glad I watched the show. 'What Goes Up' on the other hand had me wishing I had stayed in the bar. This evening I thought it was important to get a taste of the night life for a full Edinburgh Fringe experience. All I have to say is 'Dead Cat Bounce' are well worth a watch at 'Late and Live' although there set list is going to be the same all festival so maybe look into other options if you head out more than once. If you get there late enough you can walk in for free.

So after staying up until 6 with my friend Simon so that he could catch his mega early morning coach I went to bed to catch some rest before heading to the Traverse to see 'The Dark Philosophers'. I really enjoyed the show the mix of music, comedy, the amazing set, talk shows and an audience laughing had me leaving Edinburgh with a huge smile on my face. I couldn't think of a more perfect way to end my trip to Edinburgh.

Now I'm in Glasgow recovering from a theatre overdose. I'll put a recap blog and video up soon. What an amazing trip thank you NTW and thank you Edinburgh until next year.
