NTW TEAM - Paid Opportunity for Performers in Wrexham!

NTW TEAM is marking the end of the first year of our four-year programme by holding TEAM Performance Parties in Pembrokeshire and Wrexham, with the Wrexham party taking place this December.

What is a Performance Party? It is a mix between a performance, a conversation and a party!

The purpose? To get a better idea of what is important to the people of Wrexham, to let you know a bit more about NTW and TEAM and for us find out what you would like from your National Theatre as we continue our journey to creating a show together over the next few years.

Join us for the chance to have your say and to be a part of the decision-making process right from the start.

Catherine Paskell will work closely with the community to create something fun and interactive, inspired by TEAM in Wrexham and we need you to get involved!

NTW TEAM is looking for 4 playful performers to join in the mayhem. Successful applicants will work closely with Catherine to devise short performances, and to facilitate conversations with audience members during the event.

This opportunity is for performers from all disciplines, you could even apply as a group should you wish to – we would love to hear from actors, writers/performers, spoken word artists, puppeteers, dancers, musicians, story-tellers, clowns and more...

You will need to be available on:

Monday 3rd December

Tuesday 4h December

Wednesday 5th December

Thursday 6th December

As this will take place in Wrexham, we are interested in hearing from performers based in the area.

The fee will be £100 a day (if applying as a group please bear in mind that the fee will remain at £100 per day for the group as a whole)

If you are interested in performing please email Naomi Chiffi at team@nationaltheatrewales.org with the following:

  • Your CV
  • A short paragraph detailing what your experience has been with TEAM so far, orif you are new to TEAM, how would you like to be involved with TEAM in the future?
  • And a piece of music you feel represents Wrexham in 2018 and why.

Please register your interest by Monday 22nd October at midday.

Workshop-style interviews will take place on the morning of the 8th November in Wrexham.
