Opportunities for interesting Artists at Watershed, Bristol

Hello everyone,

As some of you might know I'm now based at Watershed in Bristol, and I work out of the fantastic Pervasive Media Studio. We've got some opportunities to join the Studio at the moment which might be of interest to some of you I've popped some more information below:

Studio Artist’s Residencies 2015

This is an open call for Watershed’s Studio Artist’s Residencies programme, a fantastic opportunity for artists based in the UK, to explore ideas and to develop their practice.

We have one residency available, most suited to artists seeking time and space to think, share and make new work. The programme is two-months in duration, beginning in June 2015 and is made possible with support from Arts Council England. It is based at Pervasive Media Studio and open to all art forms.

Artists can apply as individuals or groups, and will receive a bursary, a facilitated programme produced by Watershed, plus budget to support travel, relocation and production. This is an excellent opportunity to be fully immersed in development of a project idea, whilst becoming part of the inspirational network of practitioners associated with the Pervasive Media Studio.

Offered: 1x two months in residence with £3000 bursary and additional critical and technical support.

Deadline for applications: 23 April 2015, 5pm BST

You will find further information and how to apply here.

New and emerging talent residencies 2015

We are looking for three talented and ambitious individuals at an early stage in their professional development, looking to explore ideas related to creative technology within the open and inspiring community of the Pervasive Media Studio.

If you are in the early stages of your career and have a specific idea or project that you would like to explore and develop with us in residence at the Studio you can now apply for a new and emerging talent residency to run from 6 July to 2 October 2015.

Offered: 3x three months in residence with £2000 bursaries and additional production and technical support.

Deadline for applications: 5 May 2015, 5pm BST

You will find further information and how to apply here.

Shout if you've got any questions, and let me know if you're in Bristol- feel free to pop in for a coffee!
