Part Time- Project co-ordinator - North Wales DEADLINE 7TH SEPT

Gig Buddies- Learning Disability Wales.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of our new Gig Buddies project in North Wales. The befriending scheme matches people with a learning disability and/or autism with volunteers who share the same interests, so they can go to gigs and events together. Working flexibly you will recruit participants and volunteers organise and host social events and promote the projects success.

You will be committed to promoting the rights of disabled people, have good interpersonal skills, be able to work on your own initiative and have experience of promoting a service. It would be advantageous if you could communicate in Welsh.

Successful applicants will be home-based with access to a central hub within the community to collaborate on work matters.
