Hello. 

About eighteen months ago I began an ACW-supported project painting portraits of stage performers - actors, comedians, poets, and so on. I posted on here asking if any NTW members might be interested in sitting, and a bunch of fine people responded. 

I was working towards two exhibitions: the first, at MoMA Wales, Machynlleth, and the second in Penarth, at the Pier Pavilion. This project is now complete (though I will continue to paint portraits of performers), and I'm very grateful for the support and involvement of NTW members. It's been a great experience.

The Machynlleth show, featuring twenty-three portraits of comedians who have performed in the town's wonderful comedy festival, opened on May 3rd. The Penarth show, which will feature around forty-five paintings - including those of NTW members - will open on June 13th, with a private view from 7pm.
