Production Manager and Stage Manager- paid opportunities with Canoe Theatre

Canoe Theatre are looking for a Production Manager and Stage Manager for their forthcoming production This Incredible Life  by Alan Harris at Ffwrnes Llanelli. The project is funded by the Arts Council Wales and is a co-production with Ffwrnes supported by The Alzheimer’s Society.

The Production manager would work closely with the designer and the production team at Ffwrnes to source and schedule the build of the set and oversee the technical requirements of the production liaising between the director, associate director, designer, lighting designer and sound designer composer and film maker to ensure the set is constructed to time and budget.

The Stage Manager will work closely with the designer and production manager in the early stages of the project to help source props and costume and the scheduling of rehearsals. They will then work closely with the creative team in rehearsals, taking on the role of DSM in production week.

Although it is envisaged that this is two roles, The Production Manager and Stage Manager roles can be combined depending on the experience and interests the individual to create one role.

Dates:

Week of 23rd May- Briefing with designer

31st May- 26th June- Pre Production planning and sourcing, rehearsals and production.

Rehearsals will be in Ammanford and the production will be at Ffwrnes, Llanelli
