Technical Stage Manager
‘Peggy’s Song’ Autumn Tour 2019

£610 per week (PAYE)
We are looking for hard working, Technical Stage Manager to work with us on ‘Peggy’s Song’, written by Kath Chandler and directed by Phil Clark. After its premier during NHS70 in July 2018, NTW are taking this wonderful show out on the road again.
The ideal candidate would be someone who is adaptable to various situations and able to problem solve in different technical disciplines, most notably sound and lighting.
Essential
Experience working in professional theatre and/or events
Solid working knowledge of sound and lighting
Experience setting up and operating sound and lighting desks
Understanding of Qlab
Working knowledge of H&S
Ability to read CAD plans
Experience of touring
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Full Clean Driving Licence
Confident driving a long wheel based van
Desirable
At least 3 years professional experience in theatre and/or events
Ability to program and fault find Qlab
Fluent Welsh Language
Drawing and using CAD software (Ideally Autocad or Vectorworks)
Personal Attributes
Ability to problem solve in time constrained situations; aiming to implement creative solutions
Commitment to team working (Large and small)
Ability to work independently and show initiative
Positive work ethic; especially when working under pressure
Highly motivated, able to manage a workload and prioritise tasks
Commitment to good practices, sustainability and accessibility
