respond project and world peace day event 21st sept 09

thanks to all who came to the RESPOND event last night- it has been a challenging and provocative week of creativity and great to see work instantly responding to modernity to create debate and give voice to dissent. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the other collaborators and the team at NTW who helped make it happen. Thanks. It is where welsh theatre needs to go and something that has been lacking for years.Well done NTW and Catherine, John, Ellie, Tom and Eina.

Also, in a similar way we are responding to World Peace DAy and I have helped organise a night to celebrate World Peace Day in Cardiff and will be performing alongside many great artists and activists

21st September 8 pm
Evening Concert of words and music for Peace One Day. 8pm at Dempsey's (Castle Street) upstairs room for an evening concert with Martyn Joseph, Amanda Rackstraw, Mikey Price (BRAGOD & PWNGK), Mary Ann Robetts, Frankie Armstrong, Côr Cochion Caerdydd, Cath Little, Beverly Humphreys and a host of performers. In aid of CND Cymru and Campaign Against the Arms Trade. (Tickets £6 & £4) www.peaceoneday.org Frankie Armstrong: armstrongf.t21@btinternet.com

Great work this week Patrick - your poem was very powerful, and it felt great to have someone to share my scar with, albeit temporarily - thanks! Hope you've managed to wash it all off!
