Bring a book you want to share aloud to The Hayes, Cardiff city centre, Saturday 11 June.

Meet by John Bachelor's statue (the 'Friend of Freedom' and traffic cones!) in The Hayes, near the giant tv screen outside St David's Hall a little before midday.  At 12 noon everyone starts reading at the same time, for as long or as briefly as they want, until 12.30.

As you find a space to stand still and read aloud, you'll be playing an active role in a community of readers taking part in an open-to-all live group event, contrasting with the fast changing images on the television and the flow of pedestrians and shoppers.

If you haven't been able to make it before now's the chance to join in with Room to Read and find out why everyone who's read wants another go.

Bring books of the literature, essays and science writings you love and make them alive and aloud as you share them - OUT LOUD.

Looking forward to seeing you - Saturday 11 June, 12 noon - 12.30 pm.

ps bring a bright umbrella too, if it's raining.
