Another public space in Cardiff was successfully transformed into Room to Read on Saturday. Gorsedd Gardens, usually surrounded by traffic noise and a busy route for shoppers to-ing and fro-ing, became filled with the rhythm of spoken words. One passer-by who stopped to listen commented - 'It's like dipping into a magazine. You take what you want from it!' There are more photos, plus the range of works read from, on the Love Reading Facebook profile.

So once again a huge thank you to everyone who turned up to read, all those who stopped to listen, and those who did a double-take as they walked past. And that goes for all the people who've taken time out to be part of the previous events too. It couldn't have happened without you.

Room to Read started as a one-off experiment, and continued over five months. It's been great fun! In it's current form it'll probably go into hibernation now, as Welsh Weather becomes colder, wetter and windier.

But it'll be back!
