• We’ll be having this same conversation in 10 years if we don’t have action.
• To those acstomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression.
• Does it matter if they’re not ready for change? Maybe it just needs to happen.
• Kevin whilst at Theatr Iolo was very aware of the responsibility and tried to share the work around. Made such a difference when the young people could see themselves on stage. Difficult for a small company like Iolo to then retain BAME actors because they would move on quite quickly to NTW, London etc. Retaining the talent in Wales can be difficult.
• Slung Low in Leeds and Theatr Bara Caws in North Wales- all staff get an equal wage.
• It feels like there’s change and then, no, we’re back there again.
• Maybe we have to have a revolution?!!!

• Byddwn yn cael yr un sgwrs yma ymhen deng mlynedd os na fyddwn yn cymryd camau.
• I'r rhai sydd wedi ymgynefino â braint, mae cydraddoldeb yn teimlo fel gormes.
• Ydyw'n bwysig os nad ydynt yn barod am newid? Efallai bod angen iddo ddigwydd.
• Yn Theatr Iolo roedd Kevin yn ymwybodol iawn o'r cyfrifoldeb a cheisiodd rannu'r gwaith o gwmpas. Fe wnaeth wahaniaeth mawr pan allai'r bobl ifanc weld eu hunain ar y llwyfan. Mae'n anodd wedyn i gwmni bach fel Iolo gadw actorion BAME gan y byddent yn symud ymlaen yn gyflym i NTW, Llundain etc. Gall cadw'r doniau yng Nghymru fod yn anodd.
