On Wednesday 1st March, Darius Nash and Tamar Eluned Williams will be presenting developmental showing of Stories for the Silver Tree as part of the Cardiff Fringe Cafe and we would love you to come along, enjoy the work, and be generous with your thoughts and knowledge.

Stories for the Silver Tree combines spoken word, music, soundscape and song to interweave both new and old narratives to create a fresh and contemporary storytelling show. Alternating between mythical landscapes and personal stories of change, growth and journeying, the show follows Bran, a young woman finding her place in the world. A journey that means standing up for herself, forming strong friendships and making plenty of mistakes along the way.

Using story, song and sawing we will follow Bran through towns and cities, down long roads, through dark forests and beyond, as she encounters many people who seeks to exploit or corrupt her.

Can she learn to stand on her own two feet?
Can she find wisdom in the people she meets?
Can she find a home in an unfamiliar world?

And what is up with those silver trees?
