Take an Incredible journey on a train

This may seem like a blog about train times to a faraway land called Llanelli. But if you dig a little deeper it is the pathway to an exciting and wonderful theatre experience.

This Incredible Life by Alan Harris, produced by Canoe Theatre and Ffwrnes is on this weekend in Llanelli and with a cast of Sharon Morgan, Elin Phillips and Simon Nehan it is shaping up quite beautifully.

I would suggest that you abandon all plans and come and see it. It would be a lovely day/night out and it is possible to come by train. For ease and because I’d love to see you there, I’ve investigated the train times for this theatrical journey extravaganza.

Here goes….

To come to the 1.30pm performance on Friday 24th June you could get the 11.38am from Cardiff and return at 3.32pm. It costs £13.70- but if you come in a gang it is considerably cheaper! Plus on this performance, there is Joes ice cream and welshcakes and tea added in!

To come to the 7.30pm performance on Friday 24th June you could get the 5.40pm from Cardiff and return at 21.17- still time to get home for last orders…

To come to the 7.30pm performance on Saturday 25th June you could get the 17.04 from Cardiff returning at 21.17. Now I know that this is not for those who want to see Wales in action. But for those who don’t, I can almost guarantee a peaceful train journey…

And if a Sunday outing is your thing, come on the 13.03 train to Llanelli for the 3pm performance and return at 16.46- time to fit in a little stroll on the lovely beach here in the gateway to the west…

We hope to see you there (the train stops at Bridgend, Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea so plenty of opportunities to to hop on).
