TEAM across Wales & Looking back on NHS70 Festival / TEAM ledled Cymru a Cip olwg yn ôl dros Gwyl NHS70

Hello all, some of you have said to me that we don’t shout enough about all the very different things we do. So I thought I’d share some of the upcoming events that are keeping us busy.

Back in February, we announced that our TEAM programme had been awarded £400,000 from Paul Hamlyn Foundation (PHF), to support the next, four-year phase of our work, in Pembrokeshire and Wrexham.

The amazing Collaborations team here at NTW led by Devinda De Silva– which runs TEAM, among other projects – have been hard at work since then in both locations.  Our TEAM Associate Robbie Price is in Pembrokeshire and in Wrexham we have TEAM Associate Lizzie Glazier. They’ve helped organise creative workshops, open mic nights, created an album, and in Tenby, helped put together Tide Whisperer’s invaluable community cast. As I explained in my last blog post, this is all a core part of NTW’s vision, and is geared towards opening the door to as many people as possible.

As we near the end of the first year of the project, we’re gearing up for two exciting Performance Parties – In Haverfordwest, Pembs, on 22 November, and in Wrexham on 6 December.

For those of you who may not have experienced an NTW Performance Party.  It is just that – an opportunity for existing, new and potential TEAM members to enjoy a night of performance, discussion, food, drink and idea-sharing. It’s also a chance for communities in Pembrokeshire and Wrexham to tell us what is important to them and what they want from TEAM and NTW. At the end of this four-year project, we’ll be staging a full production in both locations created in collaboration with both communities, and these Performance Parties are a crucial point in terms of our conversations with those communities, so please, please come and join the Party!

Find out more about the Pembs Performance Party here, and about the Wrexham Performance Party here. See you there, I hope.

Also on the subject of TEAM, we’re on the lookout for new TEAM Panel members to join from January 2019. If you’re not aware of it, TEAM Panel is a group of up to 15 people who support, question and advise NTW, meeting a minimum of four times a year. One of its most important functions is to open up some of the company’s decision-making processes. Panel form a central part of our thinking and approach – members can expect to contribute to our strategic plan, our programming, be part of our interview panels and to attend an NTW Board meeting.

We’re looking for anyone aged 16+ who wants to work with us to make a difference. This isn’t aimed at a specific group, in fact we want a real mix of people. One of the strengths of TEAM is that we’ve always encouraged and supported a broad range of voices. And since TEAM will be creating a show in Pembrokeshire in 2020 and another in Wrexham in 2021, we are particularly interested in applicants from either of those locations.

The deadline for applications is 26 November 2018. Find out more here.

Meanwhile, this week we’ve created a video celebrating our NHS70 Festival, which we held in July to mark this remarkable institution’s 70th birthday. It is astonishing to think we staged 114 performances, with more than 100 creatives, cast and crew across Wales in just one month. We know not everyone could get to see it all, so whether you caught some, all, or none of our festival, this video is a beautiful tribute to everyone’s hard work, and in turn we hope the Festival was a fitting tribute to one of Wales’ best exports.

As for what’s next – watch this space for some exciting Welsh artists opportunities!

Helo bawb, fel mae rhai ohonoch wedi dweud wrthyf, nad ydym yn gweiddi digon am yr holl bethau gwahanol yr ydym yn eu gwneud. Felly, roeddwn i'n meddwl y byddwn i'n rhannu rhai o'r digwyddiadau sydd i ddod sy'n ein cadw'n brysur.

Yn ôl ym mis Chwefror, fe wnaethom gyhoeddi bod ein rhaglen TEAM wedi derbyn grant o £400,000 oddi wrth Sefydliad Paul Hamlyn (PHF), er mwyn cefnogi pedair blynedd nesaf ei waith yn Sir Benfro a Wrecsam.

Mae’r tîm cydweithio gwych sydd gennym yma yn NTW - dan arweiniad Devinda De Silva, sy’n rhedeg TEAM, ymhlith prosiectau eraill - wedi bod yn gweithio yn galed ers hynny yn y naill leoliad a’r llall.

Ein Cydymaith TEAM yn Sir Benfro yw Robbie Price, ac yn Wrecsam – Lizzie Glazier.

Maent wedi cynorthwyo gyda threfnu gweithdai creadigol, nosweithiau meic agored, wedi creu albwm ac yn Ninbych-y-Pysgod wedi tynnu ynghyd gast cymunedol heb ei ail Tide Whisperer. Fel yr esboniais yn fy narn blog diwethaf, mae hyn oll yn rhan o weledigaeth graidd NTW ac â’r nod o agor drysau i gynifer o bobl â phosib.

Wrth i ni agosau at ddiwedd blwyddyn gyntaf y prosiectau, rydym yn paratoi ar gyfer dau Barti Perfformio – yn Hwlffordd, Sir Benfro, 22 Tachwedd, ac yn Wrecsam ar 6 Rhagfyr.

I'r rhai ohonoch nad ydynt wedi profi Parti Perfformio NTW, mae o yn union fel ag yr awgrymir gan yr enw - cyfle i aelodau cyfredol, aelodau newydd ac unigolion a allai fod â diddordeb mewn ymuno â TEAM i fwynhau noson o berfformio, trafod, bwyd, diod a rhannu syniadau. Mae’n gyfle hefyd i gymunedau yn Sir Benfro a Wrecsam roi gwybod i ni am y pethau sy’n bwysig iddynt hwy, a’r hyn y maent yn dymuno ei gael oddi wrth TEAM ac NTW. Ar ddiwedd y prosiect pedair blynedd o hyd, byddwn yn llwyfannu cynhyrchiad llawn yn y naill leoliad a’r llall a fydd wedi ei greu o ganlyniad i gydweithio gyda’r ddwy gymuned, ac mae’r Partïon Perfformio yma yn bwynt allweddol o ran datblygu ein sgwrs gyda’r cymunedau rheini, felly dewch draw i ymuno yn y parti!

Dewch i ddysgu rhagor ynghylch Parti Perfformio Sir Benfro yma, ac am Barti Perfformio Wrecsam yma. Welwn ni chi yno gobeithio.

Yn ogystal, ar bwnc TEAM, rydym yn chwilio am aelodau newydd i ymuno â Phanel TEAM o fis Ionawr 2019 ymlaen. Os nad ydych wedi clywed amdano o’r blaen mae panel TEAM yn grŵp o hyd at 15 o bobl sy’n cefnogi, cwestiynu a chynghori NTW, gan gyfarfod o leiaf bedair gwaith y flwyddyn. Un o’i swyddogaethau pwysicaf yw gwyntyllu rhai o brosesau penderfynu’r cwmni. Mae gan banel le canolog yn ein proses o ddatblygu syniadau a’n dynesiad - gall aelodau ddisgwyl cyfrannu at ein cynllun strategol, ein rhaglennu, bod yn rhan o’n paneli cyfweld a mynychu cyfarfodydd Bwrdd NTW.

Rydym yn chwilio am bobl sydd dros 16 mlwydd oed sy’n dymuno gweithio gyda ni a gwneud gwahaniaeth. Dyw hyn ddim wedi ei anelu at grŵp penodol, a’r gwir yw ein bod yn dymuno cael amrywiaeth eang o bobl. Un o gryfderau pennaf TEAM yw ein bod wedi annog a chefnogi ystod amrywiol ac eang o leisiau. A gan y bydd TEAM yn creu sioe yn Sir Benfro yn 2020 ac un arall yn Wrecsam yn 2021, mae gennym ddiddordeb arbennig mewn cael ymgeiswyr o’r naill neu’r llall o’r lleoliadau rhain.

Y dyddiad cau ar gyfer cyflwyno cais yw 26 Tachwedd 2018. Medrwch ddod i wybod rhagor yma.

Yn y cyfamser, yr wythnos hon rydym wedi creu fideo bendigedig yn nodi ein Gŵyl GIG70 a gynhaliwyd ym mis Gorffennaf er mwyn nodi pen-blwydd y Gwasanaeth Iechyd yn 70 mlwydd oed. Mae'n syfrdanol meddwl ein bod ni wedi lwyfannu 114 perfformiad, gyda dros 100 o unigolion creadigol, cast a chriw ledled Cymru mewn dim ond un mis. Rydym yn gwybod nad oedd modd i bawb weld y cyfan, felly pa un ai y gwnaethoch chi weld rhywfaint, y cyfan ynteu dim o’n gŵyl, mynnwch gip ar y fideo hwn sy’n deyrnged hyfryd i’r holl waith caled a gyfrannodd pawb at yr ŵyl, ac yn ogystal, gobeithiwn i’r ŵyl fod yn deyrnged deilwng i un o allforion mwyaf nodedig Cymru.

Mynnwch gip ar y fideo yma:
