So I’ve been working for NTW for just over a month now and time has flown!

Last Tuesday I got to experience my first Word4Word TEAM night at Gwdihu bar to get a feel for what TEAM is all about. I’m not really sure what I expected to happen, but I was pleasantly surprised.

The place was packed with a lot of talented bubbly personalities and Maeve Scullion who presented the evening certainly kept myself and the crowd entertained from the start. I liked how every Word4Word night has a theme, Tuesdays being “Flames” to hear poetry relating to the Olympics right through to flatulent issues. It was entertaining to say the least. After watching 12 completely different artists take to the stage the audience got to pick a winner. It was extremely difficult to choose as I had about 7 favourites! Luckily it wasn’t just down to me..

What I enjoyed most about the Word4Word night was the mixture of ages and abilities that participated. It shows what great work the NTW team are doing and I look forward to getting involved with more TEAM nights! x
