Stories inspire
Stories ignite action
Stories build bridges
We are all from stories and therefore we are our own stories. As part of National Theatre Wales community outreach programme, the Tell A Tale workshops aim to promote awareness of arts through drama, storytelling, music to disadvantaged migrant community members and give help and advice to those who wish to take careers in theatre and drama. Dates for the workshops have been scheduled for the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th Feb 2015. The time for the workshop is 2-3pm. The venue will be in Cardiff and will be announced soon.
The disadvantaged particularly the 'newly migrant arrivals' now living in Cardiff will benefit from this workshop. It will benefit them through imbedding a sense of belonging and giving these disadvantaged individuals strength to move on, helping in building self esteem and creating a pathway to the arts.
The workshops also benefits National Theatre Wales members who are keen to enrich their artistic creativity through sharing their experiences in the arts with migrant communities. National Theatre Wales members who like to inspire others, feel being part of a team that engenders a sense of hope and aspiration, strengthening community connectedness will find these workshops very rewarding.

Hi Bevan
This sounds a great project. I coordinate a project called Sherman 5 perhaps your workshop participants would be interested in Sherman 5?
I would be happy to meet for a chat with you.
Best
Guy
