Here we are on Day One of our First Respond Try Out Week. We are:

Saz Moir - recent graduate from RWCMD Design course, with an interest in puppetry, circus, site-specific performance and fire poi.

Laura Jeffs - recent graduate performer from Atrium, University of Glamorgan with interest in devising and non-linear narrative.

Patrick Jones - playwright and poet.

Lynn Hunter - actor with lots of experience devising and improvising.

Myfanwy Alexander - writer of satirical radio Wales programmes and stand up comic.

Ellie Carter and Ina Driemel are also facilitating the process as we are sat here looking at a theatre menu of 15 different ways to respond to our theme of "We Love the NHS". The 5 artists are picking a range of 5 different genres or ways of responding from the menu. They are an eclectic and exciting group and the discussions around theatre and the NHS are very interesting. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this process develops and what we all come up with in the next 5 days.

We are working towards a performance at 7pm on this Friday 18th September in our offices. What will happen in the next 5 days? Follow our progress through the Blog and please do come and see the end result on Friday!
