Sorry for typo above "have a look" is what it should say.

For anyone not knowing Dai or Allyson:

DAI SMITH

David/Dai Smith is a songwriter/producer, writing and producing songs across the whole spectrum of musical genres and styles. He has written/co-written songs which have led to record and publishing deals with Sony S2, Sony ATV Music, Atlantic, Korova, Ryko (USA) and Warner Brothers.
He has seen his songs in the Top 20 (by bands such as Toploader UK), played live to audiences of 60,000 (supporting artists such as Elton John, Girls Aloud and Katie Melua ), on TV (One Tree Hill) and in film (The Bank Job).

Allyson Summerhayes

In Allyson’s early days she sang musically from Primary school and put concerts on in school for the pupils and then staff....She was also a  member of the school choir. Allyson has been involved with Mid Glam. Youth Choir and performed in many places with some great works. Allyson formed a folk group with 3 part harmony and performed for many charitable events. Another highlight was Participating in the Eisteddfodau. A keen Piano player until the age of ten, she didn’t pick it back up until she was 19 and self taught with a little help from a friend. Another instrument she plays is the Guitar.

When she started teaching she began writing songs for children. Whilst working at school Allyson teamed up with Trish Isaac to form what was known as 'Reflections', but what was more affectionately known as 'Allyson's girls' – “we did many concerts and our repertoire was all about songs from the shows, musicals and films.  As it was a church school, I wrote many Christian songs and I recorded the music in a local studio and then Reflections performed the vocals. I then wrote quite a few songs...which led to a musical for Trish and her school which was performed in St Elvan's Church.

Allyson decided to tackle a larger project next, called ‘Adonai’ was based on the life of Jesus and was entered into the Vivian Ellis Award judged by an esteemed group consisting of Lionel Bart, Tim Rice (now Sir) and Julia McKenzie among others, so she felt very lucky to have been shortlisted and invited to the Barbican to watch the final!

From there Allyson continued to write songs for school until she decided to move on in 2004 and assisted Trish with a local youth Music Theatre group. Allyson became MD for several years with the young people performing. They performed in many places locally and all the way to Her Majesty's Theatre London. Allyson tutored several girls for singing, joined a local college to explore music a little more and studied for her ‘Popular music degree’ in Cardiff with first instrument - vocal. (You will hear Allyson playing keyboard on the concept album)

Allyson also took an extra course in Radio and became a presenter on GTFM. She co-presented every Sunday with a show all about music from shows and films , the Celeb News and what films were out etc. This combined with a Power Ballad show periodically and an 80's show once every three weeks. Allyson has interviewed Celebs such as: Jeff Wayne -War of the Worlds, Stan Stennet and Welsh Playright, Frank Vickery, Also H from Steps.
