Happening at Blaengarw Workmen's Hall

Working with teams of local musicians, hairdressers, performers, bakers, artists, shop assistants, bus driver, filmmakers, dog owners, tea drinkers etc... we create an evening of performances and discussions about what really matters in this particular place at this particular time.

The Valleys Assembly investigates the perception of the Valleys: between different Valleys, from the Valleys looking out and from the outside looking in. When Tracy in A GOOD NIGHT OUT IN THE VALLEYS asks, "when does the future start?" she's asking us how we can move forward when some people are intent on staying - or keeping us - in the past.

Our artist team includes: Larry Allan (playwright), Terry Chinn (visual artist), Sarah Jones & Peri Thomas (Mess Up The Mess Theatre Company) and Gareth Gordon (Technical Stage Manager)

Our Company includes: Alana Swift, Emily Bethel, Sarah Sage, Lana Laidler, Don Sage and Chris, Garry Sage, Blue Baby Crew feat Spideyboy and Karizmatic!

Our Special Guests are Wayne Carter from Penrhys Partnership and A Good Night Out in the Valleys actor, Amy Starling.

There will be songs. And dancing. And discussion. And Bingo.
