We have 8 free spaces available at our second UCAN Create Masterclass on Friday the 29th of January.

UCAN Create – Is exciting collaborative project between UCAN Productions and yello brick, which aims to inspire and encourage young people to create and produce their own unique artistic work.

UCAN Productions, an arts organisation for blind and visually impaired young people are partnering with yello brick, a company that create unusual events in everyday spaces, to run a series of masterclasses for professional development within the arts. UCAN Create is offering young people between the ages of 16 - 26 the opportunity to create, produce and showcase their own work. Through a series of masterclasses, participants will be able to learn new skills and techniques from a wide variety of arts practitioners who are working at the cutting edge of their profession.  From new digital practices to theatre in unusual spaces, the programme will offer new ways of thinking creatively about how to make work. In addition, UCAN Create will provide practical advice on how to progress into making a career within the arts in Wales and the UK.

The project will run until July 2016 and the end of the project will see a celebration of the work created during the programme at the UCAN Productions Festival at the Wales Millennium Centre, on July 26th. During each masterclass there will be 10 spaces for non members of UCAN which will be allocated on a first come first accepted basis.

UCAN Create is funded by the Arts Council of Wales
