WalesLab - next round of applications now open

Over the last eighteen months WalesLab has been quietly making a difference to lots projects accross the country, providing much needed support at the very early stages of an idea.

Over this time we've explored Augmented Reality in theatredating scamslife after deathMexican wrestling ballerinas, experiences of the Syrian revolution, and worked from Capelulo in the North to Castlemartin in the south. You can find out more about the projects by looking at the shiny new WalesLab pages on our website, click on a pin on the map and you'll see what happened there.

Whilst WalesLab isn't about production, and generally works with projects at the beginning of their life, we're also delighted to have seen projects progress through to public performance with Norman & Judith recieving ACW funding for an exhibition at Milkwood Gallery, Fear of Breathing recieving critical acclaim duing it's run at the Finborugh Theatre, Lady Gogo Goch having a work-in-progress sharing at Bristol Ferment, plus upcoming performances for good cop bad cop at Chapter, and Tracy Harris in CPT's Sprint festival

And Now the important bit..

We're now looking for new projects and ideas for development. If you've got one, don't let it it stay where it is, be that a notebook or in that nagging part of your head - let it out and lets get talking about it. If you want to apply to WalesLab all you have to do is fill in a very simple form, and then we'll shortlist a number of projects who'll be invited in to meet with a panel to dicuss the project further. It's that simple.
