Rhys’ Blog – dead born grow

WE ARE BACK!! This is the first time that I’ve ever remounted a show and its proving to be a real challenge…but still very exciting. 7 months since we last performed the piece its interesting how quickly everything comes flooding back…the body does remember (something Frantic assured us of last summer).

We started by recapping and re-remembering the major movement sections of the piece…which was simple enough to do…but finding the detail that we had in the summer is proving a little harder…but we’re getting there!!!

However, the piece is changing greatly (as it should) as we are adding new sections and building on existing moments to make them clearer and more dynamic. This is keeping all of us on our toes and adding an extra excitement to the rehearsal process.
