Hi Everyone,

This is my first blog on the NTW Community pages and only my second day in the NTW offices. I'm here as a new Creative Associate for WalesLab. Don’t worry, Matt Ball is still here, and together we will be working over the coming months to devise, develop and deliver a truly amazing event in the WalesLab DIY festival and Summer Camp. (applications are now open - deadline 13th May). If you don’t know what either of those things are, have a look: If you are making new work, there will be something there of interest, I’m sure.

All of this will be taking place as part of the Anglesey residency in June around Things I Forgot I Remebered. These first few months are going to be hectic, I have no doubt, but what a way to start with the company? Some projects are gifts, I think this is one.

I've not moved far, until last Friday I was Associate Producer at Wales Millennium Centre, where amongst other things I was responsible for the Incubator Project. I can't wait to bring some of that experience into play whilst working on WalesLab here at NTW. 

When looking back now it feels like ages since my interview (with 6 people on the panel - gulp...) and the anticipation has been building since. Yesterday was a great day, full of new systems, policies and people AND a very snazzy Mac. I will try to treat it kindly.
