What is Welshness to you? Beth yw Cymreictod i chi?

Greetings/cyfarchion. I'm doing some research for a potential NTW project and would love to put a question out there. What is Welshness? What, for you, is the meaning or definition or essence of being Welsh or living in Wales? I'm not looking for paragraphs. Just a few words. Even one word, in either language. One pal whom I asked said simply "an albatross". Someone else said "Knowing the meaning of hiraeth". What's your answer? All contributions extremely welcome, and very liable to end up in the eventual mix. Diolch/thank you. Jasper Rees

I'm not sure I can define my Welshness. It is me, it is who I am. I am an acute sufferer of Hiraeth.. I am forever wanting to go home, I only ever feel settled and content when I am in Wales.
