What Next? is a fast growing alliance of arts and cultural organisations.

Its purpose is to find new ways of engaging with 'the public' - our audiences, visitors and participants, as well as our potential audiences, visitors and participants: the ever-increasing millions who value and take part in the arts that are made with, for and by them.

We first planned a national conference for early February.  The response was so immediate and so large that we decided to delay until What Next? conversations had begun in other centres across the country.

Now, on behalf of all What Next? members, we are delighted to invite you to a national conference in London on Monday 29th April 2013. 

The purpose of the day is to explore and share new ways to promote engagement with and support for the cultural work that takes place day-in, day-out, up and down the country.  

We want to suggest connections between all aspects of publicly and privately funded art and culture at every level, as well as all branches of education.  

We want to encourage an engaged, positive, informed, inclusive national conversation. We want to come up with and to begin to implement innovative, effective campaigns.

The day will be designed so that the maximum number of voices can be heard.  Its purpose is to inspire action.

As we've changed the venue to accommodate more people, we would ask you to please re-register. We encourage you to bring chairs and board members of your organisations (please note there is a limit of three people per organisation). There will be a charge to cover costs, if it is beyond your reach we have a small number of bursary places available. Please contact Elizabethjane100@gmail.com to apply for one (all applications for bursaries must be received by Friday 29th March).
