After a hugely successful series of workshops in Cuba, Stephen Bayly is back in Cardiff with "Working with Actors", his inspirational course for actors and directors.

Following the methods of director and teacher Stanford Meisner, the short course is designed to provide practical tools to actors and directors to collaboratively create truthful, in-the-moment performances for film and stage. The course covers many aspect of Meisner technique, from forging a connection via repetition to the process of personalising text to prepare for a scene.

The course will start in the first week of April, and consists of 4 weekday evenings and a full weekend - 24 hours in total. It will be held in a central Cardiff location. Participation costs £275 with a 10% discount for members of NTW community. To find out more about the course, applying for funding and to book your place, contact savannahs@hotmail.co.uk.

"Your workshop inspired me and helped me progress both as actor and director. I wish I’d been taught years ago the clear lessons you gave. It has been an amazing and unique experience and I hope I have an opportunity in the near future to continue this work.” Simon Morgan-Thomas, Cardiff May 2011.
