Hi Peter. Really pleased you enjoyed The Cabinet of Dr Caligari. I'm on the lookout now for a company, venue or festival interested in helping me to realise a new music theatre project which I've been developing with Martin Riley... a kind of opera/street theatre hybrid.

Hi Peter. Just got back off hols last night and - yes, the invite was there. I HOPE to be able to make it but I need to wriggle out of something else first and will have to wait until return of my line manager next Tuesday. Best to all!

Yes I think you are right that it would be good for emerging artists but I don't think it should be limited to that. It would be great to think about developing top class work with theatre makers from a range of disciplines and stages. To develop excellent work in it's own right for the good of Powys, not just a stepping stone for greater things. Also making it an opportunity for artists with limited experience to work with artists with a life time of experience; helping the young to push themselves to the next level.

I just don't know what capacity there is within Powys theatre makers and it would be fantastic to find out.

Hey Pete, I've been having a think about developing my own work in Powys. Something I would love to do but feel I am lacking a collective.
Powys is such a sparse beast I feel I don't know many people who's artistic vision inspires me to work with them; although I am sure they are out there. I am wondering if this is something other theatre makers in Powys have a problem with; i'm sure it must be. Is there anyway we can think about facilitating a meeting of minds? I'm thinking rehearsed readings of new writing from Powys or workshops. Advertising it through Arts Engine and PAF?
I thought being the Networking master that you are, you might have some thoughts on this! x

Hi Peter, I think your suggestions on getting Oona King and the Fawcett woman (sorry, no name to hand either!) to blog on here about gender equality and diversity are great. Are you able to follow them up? And well done on Mark Thompson letter! He probably needs a bit of a kick! x

Hi Peter, it was great seeing you at the Vamps, Vixens and Feminists conference yesterday, did you enjoy it? Sorry we didn't get to chat more, especially as I had to grab coffee during your story about how you and your friend met. It sounded like an illustrious job with those big 'names' attached. It was ok tasting coffee, a bit weak, but desparately needed! I felt inspired afterwards, by what the participants said and the energy in the room - but also by Sphinx's ability to think big and organise such a great event in a theatre space as huge as the Olivier. Great that they were able to fill the stalls!

Hi Pete, Good to hear from you - and to see you at the party. I will send you an email directly to you. What are you up to? I've just finished writing PLUM for Sherman; and have another show on the road at the moment if you get a chance to catch it - called CHASING RAINBOWS. It's on during UNITY festival in WMC next week.... Will be casting for Autumn show GULLIVER soon if you know of any Cardiff based actors who might be looking for work... advert on Theatre in Wales website.
Are you doing an TV stuff? The whole Mersey TV stint seems a long way off... how is it for you?
Still miss Mid Wales like mad! Specially this time of year... Lots of love to you and Cath and kids. Lou
