What I do:
Theare Designer
A little more about me:
I'm a theatre designer and illustrator. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and was a selected designer on Cheek by Jowl's inaugural young director / designer programme.

I've designed 'Hamlet' for Jonathan Miller, at the Tobacco Factory, and productions for Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory, the egg, Ovalhouse, Southwark Playhouse, Company of Angels, Trafalgar Studios, Theatre 503, Bristol Old Vic, The Jermyn Street Theatre, Idiot Child, John Wright and Fairground. I'm associate designer with fanSHEN for whom I've designed 'Shooting Rats', 'Fixer', 'Same Same' (costume) and 'Green & Pleasant Land'.

As an illustrator and artist my work includes playful drawing performances with Bristol Ferment. A short film of A Great Big Picture of You can be seen online at: In 2012, I was commissioned to design a bespoke font and hand-stencilled signage for the refurbished auditorium of the Bristol Old Vic.

You can keep in touch with my day-to-day exploits at
Projects I’m working on:
Forthcoming designs include Hot Air (Myrtle Theatre / Tobacco Factory), plus continued collaborations with director Emily Lim as part of Bristol Ferment, and a new solo drawing for live audiences created with writer and director Toria Banks.
