What I do:
Freelance Theatre Maker
A little more about me:
I’m an emerging artist, based in Cardiff and MA Drama graduate from the University of South Wales, where my main study focus was autobiographical performance and applied theatre. I’m interested in making work informed by a place or space that connects an audience to their own memories of childhood through storytelling my own memories of growing up. My performance work uses nostalgic objects and images as a starting point to engage with a diverse range of audiences by challenging perspectives of social/ cultural identity and cohesion through playful and familiar games.
Location:
Cardiff
Projects I’m working on:
Artistic Director of FYI Theatre Collective: All female theatre collective creating participatory performance from first person narratives.

Stacey Llew Project: The Stacey Llew Project was born in October 2014 when I was awarded a Research and Development grant from the Arts Council of Wales.

Hello

Loved your performance at the Crash Test at Aberystwyth Arts Centre - I'd forgotten all about the wonder that is paper fortune tellers.

Hello lovely, how are you? How's the directing going in Carmarthen or have you not started that yet? xx

Hi

Yes - Hugh Jackman is a very nice man!

Luckily, there seems to be enough work to keep me going until the end of the year. I hear you'll be doing some directing in Carmarthen?
