Profile Information

What I do:
I run Storyworks (www.storyworksuk.com). I make and produce digital stories, installations, performances and other things working with people's stories. I programme comedy and theatre for festivals.
A little more about me:
I'm from a village called Glyndyfrdwy - I grew up on a farm. I speak Welsh, but worry about the mutations. Desert Island Discs is my ultimate radio experience. I like gadgets. I have recently completed a masters in theatre and it turned my world upside down and brought everything I thought was separate in my life, closer together. I like thinking about landscape narrative things. I know too much about Eric Cantona.
Location:
Cardiff
Projects I’m working on:
I'm making a story walk for listening along Penzance Promenade (brilliant people and place).

I'm making films for the Eden Project with people who put on Big Lunches (street parties) in their communities.

I'm developing audio walks through hospitals with patient stories to use in training with hospital staff.

I'm working on a tour of story shops with Hoipolloi theatre company.

I'm programming theatre for Machynlleth Comedy Festival (www.machcomedyfest.co.uk) and comedy for Dinefwr Literature Festival (www.dinefwrliteraturefestival.co.uk)

I'm researching the feasibility of a small theatre space in Cardiff.
