What I do:

I direct theatre in the amateur sector: mainly new writing, preferably Welsh writing in English. Currently focussing on small-scale musicals.

A little more about me:

I'm passionate about making the best theatre possible, especially with young people. I work with The Unknown Theatre Company in Cardiff, directing mainly plays and occasionally musicals.

I'm a trustee of the Drama Association of Wales and work hard to promote their services to the amateur sector and beyond, particularly their publishing of new writing and their support for new work, especially in Wales.

live near Bridgend, make theatre in Cardiff, mainly.

Projects I’m working on:

I'm currently finishing off my MA Drama at the University of Glamorgan, working on a small-scale musical, researching performance approaches influenced directly by Storytelling techniques.

Looking forward, once the MA is over, to picking up again with The Unknown Theatre Company, with my group for 8-12 year olds, and my new regular groups for 13-16 year olds, and 17 and above.
