A little more about me:
I left The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 1989 and have been working as a composer, writer and workshop leader since 1990. Other composition work includes many plays on Radio Four including a new musical (Stars in Their Eyes) and incidental music for The Duchess of Malfi broadcast on Radio Three.I spent a year as composer in residence at Welsh National Opera during which time I wrote several large scale community musicals/operas. I've worked on numerous youth productions including as Musical Director for The National Theatre of Wales. I've also been responsible for training the children’s choirs for the professional tour of Joseph and Whistle Down the Wind at The New Theatre.Recently I've been sharing my time between teaching and my writing and adapting work. In 2008 London based Unexpected Opera toured my 1950s style adaptation of The Barber of Seville (now called The Barber of Savile Row). Last year with the assistance of a grant from The Arts Council of England they toured my new version (written with Lynn Binstock) of Offenbach’s Orpheus In the Underworld (under the name Orpheus Down Under).Currently I am involved with two major writing projects, a musical 'Another Bite of the Apple' with well-known South Wales play write Frank Vickery and a musical about curry set in Cardiff called 'Half N Half'.

If anyone out there is interested in this (paid) role - get in touch with me in the first instance and I'll pass on your details.

Many thanks

Tim
